Surfrider Silent Art Auction

Local artists are donating surf-inspired work for the First Coast Surfrider Silent Art Auction, Thursday March 6th from 7-9pm at Twisted Sisters. Bidding will begin online a week prior to the event and continue in-person at TS (back room).

Teach Your Children Well

There's nothing in the world that can compare to the feeling you get when you see a kid get their first good ride to the beach. The look on their face is always the same. Ear to Ear smiles the whole way back out to the lineup. Last summer was full of some good surfing from all my kids. I can't wait till spring to see how much they progress this year. As a dad if I can pass anything on to my kids it will be surfing. There's no greater bond between the family than sharing waves on a perfect summer day!

Posca Pens

Here's a few boards I've done this year. Hand painted with Posca Pens then sealed with clear acrylic spray. All the boards past the water tests this year. Danny Barleys "Captain America" charged Equador and The Jimi Hendrix took a beating in Puerto Rico.....mostly from the baggage handlers.

Fresh off the easel! A new painting for my bro Justin Lee. Yes, Of course we had to call it "Justins Right".
